“Whatever Works,” the latest Woody Allen film was great. I just saw it. It ended approximately 10 minutes ago. It was kind of a gut buster. I mean, I don’t think it’s for everyone, but for me, it was good. I’ve got to put some more thought into this.
“The Road” was scary. The world is ending, everything is sad, but a man is trying to take care of his son and so there is a beacon of light. well wait, i forgot why that is worth watching.
“Fantastic Mr. Fox” is a great, funny movie. I don’t know why it wasn’t more highly regarded on television. probably because of tiger woods….
what else, okay so sure, i can’t remember . . .
oh, “The Princess and the Frog.” This movie made me cry it was so precise. I’m flattered and you know why, I had no idea new orleans was the new arabia or otherwise, Disney.
“Cursive” is the most recent band i’ve seen. Cursive is heavier than i initially anticipated, and i was overall in a nice cphraze about their show at one eyed jacks. in the middle of their set this guy jumped on stage as well as though it had been rehearsed and he stripped to his underwear. the band picked up on it and began playing some sort of a snake charm and then once the guy got to his britches he stage dived and that was that, yet before he jumped, the lead singer asked, “Does anybody give a shit about this guy?”
“Inglorious Basterds” is a little embarrassing. My friend Scott told me that it’s stupid how Tarantino cuts scenes telling us its a new chapter, when of course it is. fun movie though, overall.
Furthermore, Pearl Jam is playing jazz fest. I like MMJ and BB King more though, not to mention Aretha Franklin and yes, Steve Martin.
